Minor task - Social media page

 For our social media media page, I have looked into other artists and how they portray themselves online.


In contrast to Frank oceans bare profile, as we can see from Bruno mars' page he loves to share his life with his fans through his posts. it is also important to note how balanced his choice of uploaded pictures are in terms of who he is as a person. Some of his posts are a reflection of only him, making him appear as more relaxed and himself whereas some of his other posts show him surrounded by his fans or performing live. This makes him appear as more wholesome and can be use to convey him as a good guy who likes  interact with his fans making him seem more appealing to his audience. The wide range colours used gives off a "happy and welcoming vibe" which can also portray him as being family friendly. 



Just like Bruno mars' profile, a variety of bright colors and high quality photo's are evident through justin biebers page. From just a glance we can already see he has pictures with his wife, pictures with his fans as well as a few photos of him living "the good life" while also promoting his album "justice" into a highlight above. 



For our social media page I wanted to make sure that both the colors and the font align nicely with our music video in order to keep the brand strong and consistent as well as enabling the general theme to correlate with the digipack itself. I Chose certain captions based on things Frank ocean has said in the past such as "There's beauty in chaos" and "Don't run back to what broke you" in order to keep Franks authenticity alive and evident on this page. The colours all revolve around the main theme and message represented by the song "pink + White" contrasted with one black and white post.

Treatment, Mood Board, Location and reccie

Our music video will be about a girl who fell apart with her friend/s and has changed as a person because of it. Our video will be about 3 minutes and we will be filming in the city, preferably close to Queenstreet. We have chosen this location as it gives a good variety and represents how our main character feels lost in a crowd of people. We will also be filming in a park in the city, which can contrast with the bustling streets as it conveys a more peaceful atmosphere and serenity  which adds some good symbolism. . Our Music video will incorporate three main threads as well as being a mixed genre (Narrative and performance) which gives our target audience different directions to focus on. We are also going to try keep our shots and transitions smooth so that it goes along nicely with the rhythm of our song, However will keep all our sound Non diegetic.
